How Flamengo and Vasco are doing in the Brazilian Championship
Flamengo and Vasco face each other after a historic rout by the Rubro-Negro: 6×1, in the first round of the Brasileirão and at the home of the Gigante da Colina. The moment, however, is different and the visitor is experiencing a better sequence.
In the last five league games, Flamengo has had three losses (against São Paulo, Botafogo and Corinthians), one draw (against Palmeiras) and only one victory (against Red Bull Bragantino). The team is still playing in the Libertadores and, this week, eliminated Bahia in the Copa do Brasil, advancing to the semifinals.
Vasco remained undefeated in the last five Brasileirão games, with three wins and two draws. The team also advanced in the Copa do Brasil, eliminating Athletico-PR on penalties.
