Although several months have passed since its premiere, there is no doubt that Fallout has established itself as one of the most successful series of 2024, standing out for its memorable moments and a gallery of charismatic characters, including the imposing Necrofago.
This character, played by Walton Gogginsrepresented one of the biggest challenges in the actor’s career, despite his extensive experience in high-quality series. During an interview with Collider, Goggins shared the difficulties he faced in embodying this role.
“I guess if you had a gun pointed at me and said, ‘Pick one,’ I’d say Fallout was the hardest, just because of the challenges of the prosthetics, not knowing what was going to happen, how uncomfortable all that equipment was, the elements and the temperature, and not knowing this world and how to navigate it going in.”
Goggins admitted that the use of prosthetics and high temperatures during filming caused him great discomfort. In addition, his lack of familiarity with the game’s universe made each episode an unpredictable and challenging experience, although also exciting from a professional perspective.
After having explored part of the Ghoul’s past in the first season, everything indicates that this character will once again be central in the new episodes, joining forces with other characters to face the dangers of the Wasteland. Although the second season of Fallout It does not yet have a release date, Prime Video is expected to launch it in late 2025 or early 2026.
