“It took us fourteen years to be able to see this result,” says Willem Hulsman of Kabelvrij Raalte. While he is telling his story, a large construction machine is cutting a hydraulic shear into the high-voltage mast. It is as easy as cutting a pair of scissors into a sheet of paper. The cables that previously ran between the various masts in the area have been placed underground.
