From a developer whose name was ordinary a few decades ago, even tended to be criticized because of games like Ninja Blade for example, to becoming the most beloved developer in the gaming industry, what From Software has managed to achieve is indeed fantastic. The decision to concoct an action RPG game with a high level of difficulty that now even has its own sub-genre – “Souls” is the best decision they have ever made. With achievements and commitment to quality that have not faded, From Software seems ready to “be active” again.
At least that is reflected in their latest action not long ago. From Software has just held a massive recruitment campaign period that they are doing for not just one project, but several projects at once. There is no more detailed information about what the projects are, but it is in line with the plan that Hidetaka Miyazaki had expressed some time ago, where he wanted to give young talents the opportunity to create their own games on a smaller scale.
