In the podcast Manly Thingsthe star of the new DC Universe participated in a question and answer session where he talked about the diet that transformed him into Superman.
“When I was putting on 4,500 to 5,000 calories a day. Which meant three meals, two 1,200-calorie shakes, and a bedtime snack of half a can to a three-ounce can of Greek yogurt. It wasn’t fun. I don’t recommend it unless you have a reason to gain weight. 37 pounds in four months or whatever.”
Corenswet was also asked what obstacles he faced during the filming of Superman. Below we share the actor’s response.
“I have this weird neurological apathy where I hear the question literally and I’m like… I’m just trying to think of literal obstacles, like when I ran into a wall at one point. Yeah, I got hit. That was fun. But yeah, there was a glass thing I was supposed to fly through. Oh, I ran into a door! That was a good obstacle.”
