And the latest chapter of the Chainsaw Man manga, chapter 176, has surprised fans, especially those who were criticizing the pace of the story recently. Here, some interesting details were also revealed, such as the fact that Yoru had not given up in his fight against Chainsaw Man and that, in fact, he had an ace up his sleeve, which he presented as his son. Below, we will tell you the details.
The Chainsaw Man manga has surprisingly introduced Yoru’s son
Since the beginning of the second part of the Chainsaw Man manga, we were introduced to the concept of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, made up of the Demons War, Control, Famine and Death. At the moment, we know the identity of three of these, being Yoru, Nayuta and Kiga respectively, pending the revelation of the last one.
When Yoru was introduced in the play, it was mentioned that she was a weakened entity after fighting Chainsaw Man, so she sought revenge to regain her power. However, she understood that, for the moment, she was no match, so she chose to remain hidden and become stronger.
However, their fight was bound to happen, and it began after Denji experienced his new tragedy, which brought Chainsaw Man back in his final form. But he was still no match for the “hero from hell.” However, the girl had a surprise in store, as at that moment, she summoned her children to return to her, revealing that she was the mother of the Gun Demon and Tank Demon.
The Gun Demon is no stranger to the work, as it made its appearance in the first part of the work, when it faced Makima in an epic duel. However, this was nothing more than an incomplete version of it, as it was made up of a fraction of its power, which was the one that attacked Japan. But in this last chapter, we were shown that, in Russia, they had another fraction of this entity.
Both the Gun Demon and the Tank Demon escaped from the human confinement they were in to return to Yoru, their mother. This revelation makes perfect sense, as these two are concepts often associated with war, as they are weapons present in these armed conflicts.
But this is not all, since the Tank Demon and the Gun Demon are extremely powerful, as they are machines and weapons that are frequently used in these conflicts and situations that are related to death, which increases the fear of these concepts.
And this power was demonstrated in the chapter, because after turning his children into his new arms, he was able to launch a powerful attack that apparently destroyed Chainsaw Man’s body into several pieces. This was the cliffhanger with which the manga ended.
Unfortunately, there will be no episode this week, so we will have to wait until September 17 for the continuation to be published and we can confirm what happened in this fight. Many questions have been left unanswered after these panels.

Some fans were wondering where these demons were that didn’t appear earlier to help Yoru, but the truth is that she herself explained it at the beginning of the chapter, as she commented that it would be going against her wishes, using her companions as tools. However, because she was at a disadvantage and was about to be eliminated, she had no choice.
