This year, active players in EA FC (formerly known as FIFA) are once again faced with the question of which players should strengthen their Ultimate Team. In the left-back position, speed is particularly important, but other attributes such as defending or passing are also important.
Although the game will not be released until the end of September and the official ratings have not yet been published, the well-known leaker “Fut Sheriff” has X have already revealed the twelve best left-backs of the new EA FC 25. The individual ratings are based on the players’ performances in real life.
First up is Ferland Mendy. The Real star gets a plus-two upgrade and will have an 84 rating in the new game. A bunch of Mendy’s compatriots will be on the list.
Blundell is the first woman to feature in a list that has more women than men, and the United player will also have an 84.
Federico Dimarco was one of the key players in Inter’s Scudetto. In EA FC he gets a plus two upgrade, he has an 84 in the new edition.
Next in line is a fellow countrywoman of Dimarco: Lisa Boattin. The Juventus Turin player will also have an 84.
The first 85 in the list is Katie McCabe. The Irish player from Arsenal FC has exactly the same rating in EA FC 25 as in last year’s version.
Ona Batlle also scored 85. The Spaniard became world champion in 2023, but did not win a medal at the Olympic Games: Spain lost to Germany in the match for third place.
When ranking the top left-backs, Andrew Robertson cannot be left out. The Liverpool star gets a downgrade and is lowered from 86 to 85.
Joao Cancelo will not be playing in top European football next season. The Portuguese player moved to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. With a rating of 86, he will still be one of the best players in his position at EA FC.
Three of the four top players come from France, with Selma Bacha starting off. The wife of Olympique Lyon scored 86, just like last year.
The only non-French player in the top four is Fridolina Rolfö. The Swede plays for FC Barcelona and is rated 86 in EA FC 25.
The highest-rated left-back in EA FC will be Theo Hernandez. The Frenchman receives a plus-two upgrade and is rated 87 in the new installment.
Hernandez’s compatriot Sakina Karchaoui also receives an upgrade. The PSG woman is upgraded from 86 to 87, making her the highest-rated left-back in the game.
