Charlie Covell, the creator of the series Kaos Netflix’s The New Season, starring Jeff Goldblum, has revealed its plans for a possible new season that it is looking forward to making.
Netflix released last week Kaosa British series that reimagines Greek mythology bringing it to our times and which features Jeff Goldblum leading the cast in the role of Zeusone of the most important deities of the Olympus.
It is wise not to get your hopes up too much when a new production lands on Netflix or any other streaming platform, because it runs a fairly high risk of not being renewed and being left with an open ending after its first batch of episodes.
Kaosfor the moment, has not been rofficially renewed by Netflixbut Charlie Covellthe creator of the series, is quite optimistic about the possibility that we can return to her updated Olympus, with a Jeff Goldblum at enmity with humanity.
Will there be a second season of Kaos on Netflix?
The first season of Kaos ends in a way that leaves the door open to a second seasonand its creator assures that she already has plans for new episodes: “There is definitely more. I also didn’t want to do an ending that was a total cliffhanger. I hope it’s a satisfying first season on its own, and there’s always hope for more.”
“Because I would love to do more,” added the filmmaker, delighted with the technical and artistic team with whom she has had the opportunity to work on her new series for Netflix and with whom she would like to repeat for a possible continuation: “It was a dream come true.”
Even though Netflix has “not yet” given the green light to the second season of KaosCharlie Covell says the company has always been very “supportive” of the project, so he thinks it could happen.
Kaos It premiered on Netflix last Thursday, August 29with a first season that had a total of eight episodes of about 60 minutes in length that can now be watched in full.
