“Everyone is excited and feeling good. You can see that,” said the Liverpool forward, who scored once. “We’ve just come back from vacation. Then everything is a bit easier.”
The Netherlands played at a high tempo with many position changes and created many chances. “We had the game under control for a long time. We were looking for chances from the start, we did that well. In the end we became a bit sloppy. In the end we left the field with a good feeling.”
