Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and with good reason. The title based on the popular work of Akira Toriyama is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious installments of the saga with a roster of 164 fighters.
Over the past few months, we’ve met the vast majority of playable characters from major arcs in the anime, such as the Saiyan and Namek sagas, as well as the Android and Cell arcs. Now, Bandai Namco has finally focused on the Buu arc, considered by many to be the best in Dragon Ball Z.
The company released a new trailer revealing nine more characters for the roster, all of them related to the battle the Z Warriors have with Buu, one of the most iconic and powerful villains in the franchise.

Characters from the Buu arc will fight in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO
Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO continues to add fighters to its roster
A few days ago, Japanese magazine Saikyo Jump revealed in advance some of the characters from the Buu saga that will be part of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. Now, Bandai Namco has finally confirmed them and shown them in action in a new and exciting trailer.
As expected, the game will feature the various transformations of the villain in its roster. The studio confirmed Kid Buu, Evil Buu, Super Buu, as well as his variants when he absorbs Gotenks and Gohan. There will also be other villains such as Babidi.
On the Z Warriors side, we have the Great Saiyaman, Gohan in his adult version in Super Saiyan and Ultimate Gohan, the powerful form of Goku’s son who unlocks his full potential thanks to the help of the Supreme Kaiosama.
The trailer shows off the abilities of some of these fighters who join the already well-rounded and engaging roster of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. The video also gives us a look at Spopovich, Majin Vegeta, Dabura, and more fighters. You can check it out below along with the new list of confirmed characters:
