Starting next season, VfB Stuttgart will have a new jersey sponsor: Landesbank Baden-Württemberg will adorn the Swabians’ chest. The club has officially announced this.
“LBBW and VfB share a long and successful history of cooperation. We are therefore all the more pleased that, following their return to our partner family at the start of the season, we are able to announce the next, groundbreaking step together today and that LBBW will be fully involved with VfB Stuttgart as the main and jersey sponsor from summer 2025,” Alexander Wehrle, CEO of VfB, is quoted as saying by the club.
“We are delighted to be taking our newly reactivated partnership and, with it, our partner family to a new level starting in the 2025/2026 season and would like to thank LBBW for the trust it has placed in VfB Stuttgart. From the first conversation, the parallels between our value system, the performance-oriented corporate culture and the ambition to enter international markets with strong roots in the region were palpable,” added Marketing Director Rouven Kaiser.
LBBW has previously been the shirt sponsor of Stuttgart’s youth teams, and from the new season it will be featured on all VfB shirts. The bank is thus replacing the previous sponsor Winamax. The French betting provider has been the shirt sponsor of the runner-up since 2023. The contract originally ran until 2026, but there was an option for the club to terminate the contract early, which VfB made use of.
