As the 2025 MotoGP starting grid slowly begins to take shape, Prima Pramac Racing, fresh from a contract with Yamaha after the end of their long partnership with Ducati that began way back in 2005, has announced that they will announce their new line-up by September, but not any time soon.
On the names in question, few clues and many rumors. In the last period there have been rumors of Jack Miller, publicly very critical of the organizer of the MotoGP Dorna that seems to want to favor riders of Italian and Spanish nationality, but also of Miguel Oliveira, leaving Trackhouse Racing and above all of a rookie like Toni Arbolino, today tenth overall in Moto 2.
Despite what one might believe, in reality the games have already been made as revealed by the team manager Gino Borsoi himself to TNT Sports, so only the official announcement is missing. “As everyone knows, we have already decided on our riders and during the first weekend in Misano or the second, we will make the announcement”, he declared explaining how only a few details are missing before being able to make the definitive communication.
Although the House of the Tuning Fork has not been doing very well for a few years now, the enthusiasm for this new bond is making itself felt.
“The brand has an incredible history. It has won numerous championships in the past and has power and new structures on its side. We have great confidence in them, also in light of the progress made in the last two seasons,” he stressed, reiterating that at the moment the maximum attention is on the present.
World champion among the teams in 2023, Pramac is also dominating in this 2024 thanks to a Martin in excellent form, consequently his only goal remains to leave the Borgo Panigale factory team behind him again. “We have to think about the title with Jorge and Yamaha itself, but also Moto 2, so we have a tough task ahead,” considered the manager.
And speaking of the middle class and the possibility of creating a team with the Japanese bike, he revealed: “We already have some riders in mind”.
