It had never happened before that a team faced an endurance race with all disabled riders. A peculiarity that does credit to the Team manager ex-rider Luca Scassa and to the entire work group of the Team Materia by Punto Moto Corse that provides skills and abilities to make such a goal possible.
The 6 Hours of SPA Francorchamps is a high-profile and competitive race, taking part is the dream of many professional and amateur enthusiasts. This circuit is known for its fast curves, changes in slope and the length of the track; tackling it for 6 consecutive hours requires exceptional physical and mental preparation. During these 6 hours the teams will compete to cover the greatest distance possible, the drivers will take turns driving, making pit stops to change tires and refuel, so the race strategy will be essential to obtain a good result.

The Team Materia PUNTO MOTO Corse riders are not “newbies”, already involved in the Italian and European Championships for the disabled, they will count on motorcycles perfectly adapted to the type of disability they have. They are: Alex Innocenti, Umberto Troisi and Lorenzo Picasso, each of them is driven by a visceral passion for this sport and their determination is a demonstration of extraordinary courage and ability to overcome their limits.
