The seizure by former main sponsor Uralkali on all the equipment of the Haas Formula 1 team has not yet been lifted. It means that, among other things, the trucks and racing cars of the American racing team will not be allowed to leave the Zandvoort circuit after the Dutch Grand Prix on Sunday. Both the Haas team and the Russian company confirmed this to ANP.
The Haas team previously reported that it had transferred its outstanding debt of around 9 million euros to Uralkali, but that it was waiting for confirmation from the former sponsor that the money had actually been received. A spokeswoman for Uralkali said from Russia on Sunday after the Zandvoort Grand Prix that the money had not yet been received and that for that reason the seizure was still in effect.
