Three precious tricolour memorabilia in the prestigious five-ringed location of Lausanne
Lausanne – An Italian relic joins that of Gregorio Paltrinieri, at the IOC Museum in Lausanne. After receiving the costume from the Italian swimming champion (read here)it also arrived the ball from the women’s volleyball final signed by the Italian players, Olympic champions. But not only that. In the IOC Museum there will also be thethe shirt signed by Paola Egonuone of the stars of Coach Velasco’s team.
At the end of the historic Olympic match with the United States (read here), The Italian volleyball players signed the ball and donated it to the staff of the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage. Paola Egonu also donated her signed jersey to the Museum. The memorabilia will be permanently preserved on display.

We are very proud to receive these iconic objects from the Italian team, whom we thank. We look forward to exhibiting them at the Museum”.
As reported by coni.it ‘The Museum will be enriched with other Italian memorabilia from this already historic Olympics, in which Team Italy improved on the record medal count of Tokyo 2020 by winning 12 gold medals, 13 silver and 15 bronze.
