There are many underrated video games that have fallen into oblivion. Ryse: Son of Rome, developed by Crytek for Xbox One and PC, left the memory of gamers too quickly. We have talked about the adventure of Marius Titus on several occasions in VidaExtra and today we want to bring it back to life to remember a couple of very interesting easter eggs.
It turns out that it was possible to call upon the fury of the Roman gods Neptune and Jupiter, whose Greek equivalents were Poseidon and Zeus. If you wanted to draw the god out of the seas, you had to throw spears at a very specific point in Episode 6, under a bridge. The god emerges in the form of a statue and tries to kill us with a powerful jet of water.
The wrath of Neptune is nothing compared to Jupiter, who appears at the end of Chapter 6 of Ryse: Son of Rome. You have to throw spears at a very specific pillar of the temple that is being bombarded with stones as you walk past with your men. A huge statue appears, like the Colossus of Rhodes in God of War, and throws out two flames of fire.
The video we’re sharing, which was uploaded seven years ago, also shows two more secrets in the game: a reference to the Lady of the Lake during the first few moments of the game, which we also saw in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and another secret that causes a giant head to appear on a shelf in the final stretch.
