Born Again will serve as a season 4 of the Daredevil series released on Netflix
According to the cast of Daredevil: Born Again, the Marvel Studios project will have direct connections to what was seen in Netflix.
Born Again will be a sequel and not a reboot
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the cast members of Daredevil: Born Again talked about how excited they are to reunite, as well as mentioning that there will be connections to the Netflix show. Below, we share what some of the cast members have to say.
Charlie Cox
“Deborah and I had a scene where we found an old box. Can I say that? I think I can say that. We had a scene where we were looking through a box and we found stuff from the past, and it was real stuff from the past. It was stuff from the old (show). It was like a picture frame that we used on a set eight years ago and we were looking at it together. Well, I wasn’t looking at it. But we were reminiscing about it and it was sweet. It was a little bit of life imitating art.”
Deborah Ann Woll
“There are definitely a lot of times when you don’t need to act. Very nostalgic.”
Vincent D’Onofrio
“There are stories that go back to the original series. Where our characters came from, where we are and where we’re going – some of those threads take us back in time.”
Since Marvel decided to do a creative reboot with Born Again, it was clear that the series would no longer try to hide its connection to the Netflix show. However, if you still had doubts, the cast itself has confirmed again that this project will be a continuation and not a reboot. Daredevil: Born Again will arrive at Disney+ in March 2025.
