Michael C. Hall thinks the scripts that have been written for the sequel to the series Dexter are “fantastic”. The 53-year-old actor says this in conversation with Entertainment Weekly. “I can’t wait to watch it as a fan and as an actor to be in it”, says Hall.
“To some extent I’m in the process of making it and I have an idea of what’s coming, but I’m really excited,” the actor says. “I’ve spent so much time with this character, so to do that again, it’s amazing.”
The sequel to Dexter, called Dexter: Resurrection, will be released in the summer of 2025. Dexter: Original Sin will be released in December of this year. That is a spin-off about the young Dexter in the nineties. Hall is the narrator, but Patrick Gibson plays Dexter.
Dexter is about a forensic investigator who feels the urge to kill people. In order to satisfy that urge, but at the same time remain a ‘good person’, he has made a pact with his adoptive father to only kill people who ‘deserve’ it.
