For some time now, this special column has been sharing wonderful Dragon Ball illustrations, which have caused great nostalgia to die-hard fans who usually keep an eye on each update, so this section has a very special meaning both for the franchise and for the followers who continue to admire every detail and design that Toriyama inked many years ago.

Also, one of the most notable features of this column, in addition to sharing unpublished content from the work, is that they only remain available for 24 hours on the official Dragon Ball website, making these illustrations more interesting and memorable.
Recently, this special column shared an illustration of Gohan and Goku dating back to the 80s, which not only contains a pleasant moment between father and son, but also highlights the great love and passion that Akira Toriyama had for cars since he was fascinated with drawing and redesigning all kinds of cars for his iconic work.
In this image we can see Gohan and Goku having a fun ride in a racing car with a very distinctive design that seems to have been inspired by the classic Bugatti sports car. This illustration is a draft of the image that appeared on the cover of Dragon Ball volume 15, which was first published on December 11, 1988.
Evidently, the design of this car is a bit different from the ones Akira Toriyama used to ink for his work, as he was “inspired” by the classic “Bugatti” sports car to bring to life this brilliant illustration that highlights the artist’s passion for cars.
It is worth noting that Akira Toriyama’s love for cars could often be seen in Dragon Ball, as on several occasions the mangaka made fantastic illustrations of all kinds of very distinctive cars and spaceships, which gave a unique touch to this work.
