Moments of fear in Rome: 12-year-old wanders away from parents, found in Trinità dei Monti

Rome, 14 August 2024 – Moments of great fearuntil yesterday afternoon for a couple of Ukrainian nationality which, suddenly has lost track of his 12-year-old daughter, near Via del Tritone. Leaving a fast food restaurant in the area, the parents noticed the sudden disappearance of the girl, without the possibility of contacting her in any way as she did not have a mobile phone. Frightened, the couple asked for help from some agents of the Local Police of Rome Capital who were nearby.

The patrol, belonging to the I Centro Group, immediately startedand searches in the surrounding areasimultaneously broadcasting a search note via radio, with the description of the girl. Within a few minutes, it was some local police officers who locate the 12-year-old near Trinità dei Monti. The couple, immediately informed of the discovery, were thus able to hug his daughter again, expressing enormous gratitude towards the operators for the promptness of the intervention and for the help provided in a moment of great fear.
