And they pledge to improve the game over the next 60 days
Helldivers II continues to be updated with new content, although it doesn’t always hit the mark.

2024 has already brought us several surprises in the gaming sector, but perhaps one of the most curious was the success of Helldivers II. Many of us, after seeing it at so many events, thought it would not be able to fulfill its intention of being a real success, but we were clearly wrong. Its launch showed not only that it was an excellent third-person shooter, but that it also had what it took to succeed, becoming one of the best-selling games so far this year. Still, we are talking about a game as a service, and the important thing is not to surprise at the beginning, but to manage to stay at the top.
In this case we can say that the studio has been able to disappoint fans, not because the added content is of poor quality or anything like that, but because they have not managed to add content at the pace that many expected. Even so, in the case of the latest update, it seems that they have not managed to satisfy all users, which is why they have issued a full statement on the matter.
Those responsible are sincere
Specifically, they have chosen Reddit to issue their statement, in which they point out the following: “we did not reach our goal with the last update.” With this we can really imagine that the feeling of the community was not going in a bad direction. The simple thing after this would have been to simply acknowledge the error, but they have used this same publication to point out what they plan to do in the future to remedy it.

They’ve given a lot of details, but we can basically sum it up by saying that they’re going to re-examine the way they make their balance changes. They also plan to change the way they design the different weapons that come to the game, as well as change their priorities in terms of bug fixes and technical issues.
In addition, they wanted to point out that they are going to focus on improving the frame-rate of their title, since this has been a problem for the community in recent times.
All of this is planned to take place over the next 60 days. If you want to kill time while this is taking place, we recommend you read our review of Helldivers II, in which we talk about everything that makes this title special.
