Does it exist or not? This is indeed a big question. With a story timeline that canonically only occurs after the second series, it seems a bit of a shame if Rockstar Games does not end up re-releasing the first Red Dead Redemption for PC which was indeed missed. This will give curious PC gamers the opportunity to dive into this old and legendary game, enjoying John Marson’s emotional and phenomenal story at the same time. What’s interesting? Although Rockstar Games has never officially confirmed or talked about it, signals of the game’s existence continue to come from unexpected sources. This time it came from the Playstation Store page.
The mistake made by Rockstar Games was immediately detected by the super-fast internet. In the “Game and Legal Info” section available on the Playstation Store page, Rockstar Games indirectly confirmed the existence of the PC version of Red Dead Redemption! The statement there reads: “Enjoy the epic wild west adventure that defined a generation – for the first time on PC”. The description goes on to explain how it will come with DLC content – Undead Nightmare as a bonus, as well as support for PC-specific features such as higher resolution, better framerate, multiple displays, and spatial surround sound.
Unfortunately, this information does not come with a firm release date that many PC gamers are surely waiting for. Does this mean that Rockstar Games will soon announce the release of Red Dead Redemption for PC? Let’s wait and see.
