Bluetongue virus continues to advance: record number of infections in Overijssel

The spread of the bluetongue virus in Overijssel is increasing rapidly. According to the latest figures from the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA), the virus has now been detected in 574 locations in the province. An increase of more than eighty percent compared to last week’s figures.
