In the partial rankings, Italy wins both the women’s rankingswith 233 points ahead of Great Britain’s 185 and France’s 150, which the male onewith 204 points and always ahead of Great Britain, which totals 194, while third is Holland with 146.
In addition to the victory of the Youth Cup Italy won, in the two days of finals, well 23 medals (10 gold, seven silver, six bronze). The 10 golds, between Saturday and Sunday, were won two each by the women’s four with and two without sculls and by the men’s four with, and one each by the women’s doubles, four without sculls and eight without sculls and by the men’s four without sculls; the seven silvers, again in the two days of finals, came two from the women’s four sculls and one each by the men’s two without sculls and four without sculls and by the women’s doubles, four without sculls and eight without sculls; finally, the six bronzes were won, two, by the men’s eight, while one each was won by the women’s singles and the men’s singles, two without sculls and four without sculls.
In 2025 the blue delegation defend the Youth Cup – who returns to Italy three years after the success of Linz in 2021 – to Vienna (Austria), while now the attention of Italian rowing shifts to the Absolute World Championships for non-Olympic and non-Paralympic specialties and for the Under 23 and Under 19 categories, scheduled in St. Catharines (Canada) from 18 to 25 August
