India Sardjoe failed to reach the Olympic breaking final. The 18-year-old dancer from The Hague lost 2-1 in the last four to Japanese former world champion Ami Yuasa, making bronze the highest possible. In Paris, the sport is on the program for the first time and for the time being also for the last time.
The battle for bronze is at 9:19 p.m.
Sardjoe was already considered a medal candidate on the dance floor in the sold-out stadium at the Place de la Concorde. The ‘B-girl’ has been crowned European and world champion in recent years.
