Oosterwegel was also in shape on the final day, but it was not enough for a medal. In the long jump, the athlete from Deventer reached 5.68m, followed by 52.39m in the javelin throw and a time of 2.08.67 in the 800 meters. It ultimately resulted in a seventh position in the rankings.
