Finneas’ second album will be released on October 4 and will be called For Cryin’ Out Loud!, the American singer-songwriter artist announced in a press release on Thursday.
The album is the successor to his debut album Optimist, which was released in 2021. Finneas also released the title track of his second collection of songs on Thursday. In addition to that song, there are nine other songs on For Cryin’ Out Loud!.
“This time around, Finneas broadens his creative horizons with For Cryin’ Out Loud! , drifting away from the bedroom producer mindset and into a more classic studio/band environment,” the press release reads. “This has freed him up, resulting in his most optimistic and raw work to date.”
Finneas first rose to fame as the producer of his famous sister, Billie Eilish. Together with her, he won nine Grammy Awards, and he also won one himself for best producer.
