There have been many cameos throughout Deadpool and Wolverine, but one of the most special is that of Dafne Keen as X-23The actress from Madrid left an unbreakable mark on Logan, and her appearance in this film was expected. It seems that her future within the MCU is quite promising.
On the Phase Zero podcast, Keen spoke at length about his appearance in the latest film Marvel Studioscommenting on the cameos that she liked the most and, above all, her future in the company. She said that she would love to play this mutant again in future films of the franchise.
“I would love to come back. I would pay for her to come back. Playing Laura has been the greatest honour of my life. For me we’ve only just scratched the surface with her as she’s such a complex character. It’s great, just from a fan’s point of view.”
Keen confirmed that the X-23 we see in Deadpool and Wolverine It’s the same one we saw in Logan, according to what Shawn Levy told her. Apparently, Laura stayed with the children for a while after Wolverine’s death and, after a while, decided to join the TVA. Years later, she meets up with the person who was once her mentor.
Dafne Keen is the best choice to play X-23 at Marvel Studios, mainly because of her age. At just 19 years old, she could become one of the big stars of the X-Men, the group that, along with the Fantastic Four, will become the fundamental pillar of the MCU in the future.
