“Fast Track” is a service that allows passengers to access a priority lane through which they can reach security checks and the boarding area more quickly, avoiding the long queues typical at peak times. It is particularly useful because it allows you to save precious time. Usually, the Fast Track service only includes priority access to security checks but in some airports, priority access to boarding may also be included. News for motorists thanks to Telepass which now offers this additional service in addition to those on motorways: “Telepass Fast Track” which allows priority access to airports.
How to get “Fast Track”?
The ways to access the Fast Track service may vary depending on the airport and airline. Usually, it is possible to have the service in these cases:
Buy it in addition to your flight ticket: when booking your flight, you can decide to buy the Fast Track service as an extra. Be included if you have a specific VIP or credit card: some credit cards or airline loyalty programs offer access to Fast Track as an additional benefit. Be included in some airfares: some higher airfares may automatically include access to Fast Track. TELEPASS: it has recently been activated on Telepass too.

The Telepass service, how it works
With Telepass at the airports of Rome Fiumicino, Ciampino, but also Milan, Naples and Turin, priority access to security checks is available. The new “Fast Track” service was launched by the Italian company, Telepass, leader in intelligent mobility and electronic tolls, in Italy and Europe, in view of the summer departures, and is dedicated to Telepass customers who hold an airline ticket. Customers will be able to show up at the gate of the main Italian airports by showing their boarding pass and the Telepass Fast Track QR code on their phone and speed up the entire route planned in the airports.

Therefore, this service is designed to make the traveler’s experience simpler and faster, allowing them to avoid queues at security checkpoints and save precious time. In truth, thanks to the Telepass service, since 1990 it has been possible to travel without stopping in dedicated lanes on the motorway, and the new service allows customers to have the same experience at the airport, passing through security checkpoints through free and priority access at the Fast Track gate. The latter is a preferential route that allows you to reach the boarding area quickly and easily, optimising and reducing waiting times, and guaranteeing an even “faster” travel experience.
How to request it
TELEPASS customers can request the service via the app, then you need to access the “Summary” section, click “Fast Track”, and then enter the tax code and email associated with an active Telepass contract. Once the data has been entered, a QR code will be generated and sent via email to the customer. This code must then be used to access the dedicated lane at the airport. Each customer can choose a maximum of 5 Fast Tracks (it can be used not only for themselves, but also for their travel companions).
It is not necessary to print the Fast Track, but you must present the QR code at the entrance in the dedicated lane. The service is free until December 31st for Basic customers, while for Plus customers it remains in force also in the following days. The service will be activated in the other Italian airports in the next few days.

Aldo Agostinelli, Chief Consumer Sales and Marketing Officer Telepass, specifies that it is:
“A new service for our customers who love to travel without encountering obstacles and barriers. We want to continue to keep the promise made to motorists: to let them pass in a “beep” to make the most of their time… The new service fits perfectly with our mission to promote increasingly fluid mobility, which empowers people on the move, not only on the highway and in the city but, from today, also at the airport. We offer a complete and digital experience that can accompany people in all phases of the journey: from purchasing the plane ticket to paying for the parking at the airport, passing through the fast track and, once at their destination, paying for taxis and means of transport. We want to continue to strengthen the quality and capillarity of our offer and in the coming months there will be further important innovations“.
