A few days ago we told you that Groot is responsible for a huge mess at Marvel. The zombie branch will premiere a new adventure series called Dawn of Decaywhere the only ones who resist a new virus are the Guardian of the Galaxy and Hulk. The first images showed Captain America, Iron Man and Black Widow, among others, transformed into disgusting undead.
Just because they’re a very rare and disgusting species of zombie doesn’t mean they lose their powers, much less stop using them. This serves as the perfect setting for one of the most anticipated rematches by all Marvel fans: Thor Vs Hulk, who have been trying to prove who is the most powerful Avenger for years. They even did it in the MCU!
However, scenario of Dawn of Decay is a little different than usual: this time it will be an epic battle to the death. Thor has become a zombie and knows no limits. His desire for flesh and converting survivors makes him unstoppable. On the other hand, Hulk does not have to cut himself off in the least with his partner… because technically he is dead.
Poor Groot needs to guide the uncontrollable beast through the horde, but his task only gets more complicated when an undead Thor shows up. If Groot wants to stop the Hulk from killing his fellow Avenger, he’ll have to think fast!
Marvel Zombies: Dawn of Decay #2, due out in early October, will feature an epic showdown between the two Marvel juggernauts. Their history of clashing dates back to 1963’s Avengers #1, as ScreenRant notes, and they’ve had reason to hold back in many of their encounters, but this may be one of the few times they genuinely want to kill each other. It’s going to be a spectacle!
