There are many animes that people are still waiting to be announced, but without a doubt, one of the most anticipated by anime and manga fans is the adaptation of Steel Ball RunThe seventh installment of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure seemed like it would never see the light of day, but we finally have a promising preview.
Thanks to the Aliyun website, a place where domains and brands are registered in China, we have been able to find out that the Japanese publishing company Shueisha has registered the domain of Steel Ball Run for the production of an anime that is planned to be released worldwide.
Although Netflix or Shueisha itself have not yet made it official, these types of moves practically confirm that they are already pulling strings to announce the adaptation sooner or later. Without going any further, in 2022 this trademark was already registered in Japan for the same purpose, so it is likely that in the coming months there will be news about this highly anticipated series.
The anime of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure has been on an indefinite hiatus since December 2022, as David Production, the studio in charge of this adaptation, has focused on other projects that have been enormously successful, such as Urusei Yatsura or Undead Unluck. It is also true that adapting this part of Jojo’s in particular is much more complicated, since from this season onwards, the focus of the series is completely different and moves away from the shonen genre to focus on seinen. Likewise, it seems that they have finally found the key to adapt this acclaimed work and many are eager to see what the future holds for Johnny Joestar on the small screen.
