It is well known that the Avengers team has managed to save the day on more than one occasion, and that they have been able to become one of the most prestigious groups of heroes in the Marvel Universe, however, rarely has any of its members managed to save the world on their own, a situation that we have been able to see evidenced in volume #5 of the Blood Hunt comic.
In this volume, we see how the team’s new addition, Bloodline, plays a pivotal role in saving the Marvel Universe from the vampires that have been lurking for some time now, and who have consumed it in total darkness, literally. Blade’s daughter becomes one of the greatest heroes by saving the Marvel Universe on her own
Ever since it was revealed that Blade was possessed by the vampire Varnae, it was known that Blade had become a major threat to the Marvel Universe, and that Bloodline would be the only hope to put an end to the vampires that have taken over the franchise.
This is precisely what we see in volume #5 of the Blood Hunt comic, where the heroine, with the help of Miles Morales, attacks her father’s body, which is possessed by Varnae; this while Doctor Doom was performing a spell to return sunlight to the Marvel Universe, after having defeated Varnae, making Bloodline a fundamental piece to save the world.
It had previously been revealed that Bloodline, being of Blade’s lineage, was the only one who could defeat him, and Miles, for his part, having been turned into a vampire by Varnae, could also be considered part of his lineage, this being the reason why they had to work together, and at the same time also with Doctor Doom, who was doing the spell.
We could say that, without Bloodline’s intervention, Doctor Doom would not have been able to perform the spell effectively, so she has been one of the key pieces in saving the Marvel Universe from the darkness into which the Blood Hunt event had plunged it, which, without a doubt, is extremely impressive, considering that the heroine has only been in the Marvel Universe for 2 years, and in the Avengers for much less time, making her one of the greatest heroines in the Marvel Universe today.
