Hogwarts Legacy has been a most impressive phenomenon in the video game sector, becoming the best-selling game of 2023. Thus, many have been able to enjoy Avalanche Software’s proposal, which has led Warner Bros. to give the green light to new projects based on the Harry Potter universe. One of them would be the direct sequel to the title, something that could have already been hinted at in a message within the game itself.
“Percival is hiding something,” is the message that Hogwarts Legacy players have recently encountered. A message that has no resolution in the game’s story and is generating a huge debate among the gaming community, debating whether it will be something that can be resolved in the future sequel to Avalanche Software’s title, although many others believe that it means nothing and is simply a matter left to the player’s interpretation.
I hope this is addressed in the sequel if there’s any

“I don’t think the statement means anything except that Percival recognizes a problem with Isidora and begins to hide his knowledge from her,” one of the players says. The truth will be revealed in a few years, when the sequel to Hogwarts Legacy hits the market.
Hogwarts Legacy 2 may have given the first official clue of its existence
Avalanche Software recently posted a job opening that has sparked interest and speculation among the company’s followers. The job opening in question is seeking a producer for an unannounced video game, leading many to wonder what new project might be in development. The job opening specifies that the ideal candidate must have experience developing open-world RPGs and action combat with magical elements.
These hints suggest that the new project could be similar in nature to Hogwarts Legacy, the hit game that transported players into the magical world of Harry Potter. For now, it’s important to take this information as a possibility. Neither Warner Bros. nor Avalanche Software have officially confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy 2 is in development. However, the job description and the need for specific experience in open-world RPGs with magical combat are clear indications that something big could be in the works.
