This time, the one who paid the price was a young girl who had parked her car to go to the beach
Ardea, August 7, 2024 – Another day, another act of vandalism. This time, the victim was a young girl who had parked her small car on the Ardeatini seafront, near the well-known “Sajonara” beach resort.
Ardea, car vandalized while the owner was at the beach
The girl had left the car parked in broad daylight to go to the beach. When she returned, she found the car open and the windows shattered. The unknown criminals broke the left side deflector and forced the lock, rummaging through the inside of the vehicle but without taking anything, since there was nothing of value inside.
The crime wave continues on the Ardea seafront
This latest incident occurred just a few meters from the newly opened disabled beach, a place that should represent inclusion and safety, but which is now stained by acts of vandalism that generate concern and insecurity among citizens.
Today’s episode is not an isolated case, but yet another demonstration of how the situation in Ardea is getting out of hand. Citizens are increasingly exasperated by the wave of crimes that are hitting vacationers and shopkeepers. Not an evening goes by without thefts or damages being reported, and the population is starting to lose confidence in local authorities.
The latest incident occurred just two days ago (read here), when a man attacked the owner of a restaurant, punching him twice in the face. The 112 emergency service in Nettuno intervened with a delay of one hour, further highlighting the lack of resources: two barracks in Ardea do not seem to be enough.
