A conflict over the transfer of patient files between the receiver of the bankrupt general practitioner chain Co-Med and the health insurers Zilveren Kruis, Menzis, CZ and VGZ is delaying the takeover of bankrupt practices in Zwolle and Enschede, among others. The receiver is demanding compensation for the “bulk” transfer of the files, while the health insurers find this inappropriate in the event of bankruptcy. As a result, the progress of the various takeover plans for the bankrupt chain has come to a standstill for the time being.
