Latina, August 6, 2024 – “The extraordinary maintenance work on the city streets continues. Yesterday, work was underway on part of Viale della Stazione, in particular from the intersection of Via del Murillo to the overpass”. These are the words of the deputy mayor and councilor for Public Works Massimiliano Carnevale, who underlines the importance that the administration led by Mayor Matilde Celentano is giving to Latina Scalo.
“The news of the accepted project proposal regarding the nursery school ‘Il Trenino’ on Via della Stazione dates back to a few days ago – Carnevale continues – The Municipality of Latina will receive 369 thousand euros for energy efficiency works and the removal of architectural barriers, which will make it possible to secure the structure that hosts hundreds of children. In the territory of Latina Scalo, moreover, numerous interventions have already been carried out regarding public lighting.
The most frequented places, such as the train station parking lot, via Epitaffio, strada Congiunte Destre and the Faustinella park are now equipped with efficient public lighting that guarantees greater safety in the affected area. The interventions have, in fact, improved the visibility and safety of citizens, commuters, pedestrians and drivers. We will continue to improve the infrastructure of our entire city, listening to the needs of the community, as we are doing with the renovation work on viale della Stazione, a crucial road because it is used by thousands of citizens who go to the station or who cross it to reach the municipalities adjacent to Latina”.
