Former alderman Myra Koomen of the municipality of Enschede must rectify her statements about the Eritrean riots in The Hague earlier this year, according to the court. The former CDA politician said in her role as spokesperson for the Federation of Eritrean Communities in the Netherlands (FEN) that the rioters were not Eritreans, but Ethiopians from Tigray.
