When we talk about mods, many players think of visual improvements, skin changes, and even new items such as weapons, clothing, and armor. And while it is true that there are many mods designed for these purposes, the range of possibilities is almost as wide as the imagination of modders.
Starfield has received many mods since its release. Those that remove ship building limitations have been the most famous. However, things have changed for the better since Bethesda made the Creation Kit available to modders, a tool to create mods more easily and add them to the Creations system. The latter is available on PC and Xbox.
One of the most famous is called Cheat Room and it is literally a room where you can do whatever you want without consequences. It is somewhat similar to the white room that Neo and Trinity enter in Matrix to arm yourself to the teeth. It has been present in many video games and is available in Starfield from June 8, 2024.
The player can access all weapons, armor, ammunition, food, keys, miscellaneous items, and resources in the game. Robots that can be used as training targets, crafting workbenches, and a bed have also been added. The room can be accessed from a container added to the spaceport in New Atlantis (behind our ship).

This type of room isn’t exactly new, and it’s much more common than some players think. In Fallout 4, it can also be found through the Creations system available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. It’s not a bad way to kill time, goof around a bit, and check out all the content in Fallout 4. Starfield. However, we do not recommend using it on your first playthrough because it ruins the gaming experience.
