Nintendo Switch is becoming one of the most impressive consoles in history, especially for its exceptional catalog and its 141 million units sold, which are beginning to threaten the reign of PS2 with its 160 million distributed worldwide. One of Nintendo’s mainstays in the current generation is Nintendo Switch Online, which is serving to bring back great classic games from other consoles, as is the case of Game Boy Advance, which has just announced the arrival of one of its most interesting Pokémon games.
This is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, which will be available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers starting next August 9. Therefore, Nintendo Switch players will be able to enjoy one of the most beloved titles of the franchise on Game Boy Advance, although the desired ones have yet to land on this format: Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen. We will have to continue waiting to find out if Nintendo decides to include them on some occasion; in the meantime, the addition of Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is excellent news.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team coming to Nintendo Switch Online on August 9
Suddenly, you find yourself in a new world, one where you are now a Pokémon and can talk and interact with other Pokémon. The adventure begins as you and your partner Pokémon embark on rescue missions in a world ravaged by natural disasters. But what is your true purpose and destiny in this Pokémon world? That is the real mystery! As the hero of this adventure, you’ll begin the game by taking a personality test, the results of which will determine which Pokémon you become from a number of options, including Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, Totodile, and Chikorita, to name a few. From there, you’ll select your partner Pokémon before being whisked away to a world filled with Pokémon to befriend and dungeons to explore. Assemble your rescue team, take on ever-changing dungeons, and engage in strategic, turn-based battles in this game, originally available for the Game Boy Advance system.
So, if you have an active subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, don’t hesitate to try Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team starting next August 9 while we continue to wait for the arrival of the main Pokémon games, which continue to resist reaching this mode.
