Indonesian national team successfully won the 2024 AFF U19 Cup title after defeating Thailand with a score of 1-0. Shin Tae-Yong congratulated and praised the performance of the squad coached by Indra Sjafri.

Winning 1-0 thanks to Jens Raven’s single goal was enough to bring Indonesia to win the AFF U19 Cup title. This is also the fourth title for Indra Sjafri after previously successfully winning the 2023 AFF U19 Cup, 2019 AFF U22 and the 2023 SEA Games gold medal.
After successfully leading Indonesia to win the AFF U19 Cup, the squad coached by Indra Sjafri will immediately prepare to compete in the 2025 U20 Asian Cup qualifiers, they are in Group F with the Maldives, Timor Leste, and Yemen.
