Vmoto Limited, a global company specializing in the production of high-quality electric two-wheelers with unique and innovative designs, has unveiled a prototype of new super-fast charging batteries. The new batteries will be smaller and lighter and will significantly reduce charging times: from 0 to 80% in just 30 minutes.
These innovations increase the offer of Vmoto solutions for urban mobility: the new fast charging battery and the speed battery will both remain in production. The same scooter will have two different solutions and customers will be able to choose the battery that best suits their needs. The new fast charging can help B2B customers to reduce downtime in the delivery market or heavy users, while the speed battery, already used in the range, will remain the solution for everyday use.
The prototype presentation was attended by Jorge Lorenzo, 5-time MotoGP champion and Global Testimonial of Vmoto, and Dario Marchetti, World Brand Ambassador of Vmoto. The final version, ready for series production, of the new battery will be presented at EICMA 2024. After the press conference, for the first time, international journalists and dealers from all over Europe had the opportunity to carry out a comparison test between three Vmoto L3 vehicles and three petrol motorcycles. The test aimed to show how electric vehicles are already competitive with similar petrol models in urban mobility: the test focused on handling, acceleration and riding experience.
