Amaia Montero made a surprise comeback last Sunday at Colombian singer Karol G’s second concert in Spain. Under the expectant gaze of more than 60,000 people at the Santiago Bernabéu and to the tune of “Rosas”, the former singer of Oreja de Van Gogh dazzled a devoted audience who couldn’t believe their eyes.
Her first statements after the performance were made through her social networks. In an Instagram post, the interpreter wrote: “Life has a lot of ways of getting its message across to you, you just have to be very attentive to it and then it’s like riding a bicycle. Suddenly you realize that it’s as easy as looking forward without looking at the ground and then you understand that life is the journey and not the destination. Yesterday I decided to enjoy that trip and I did it with the best companion, surrounded by the people I love the most and the love of all of you who were there. Thank you for that, thanks to life and thanks to music. THANK YOU ALWAYS @karolg you are immense and an angel who has come to stay in my life” concluded Amaia.
Our collaborators, on the set of Más Espejo, have reviewed many of the moments of the singersince he began his professional career.
After years of success in his career with the group, in 2007 he decided to leave the group and began his career in lonely. From that moment on his attitude changed, he even stopped a concert because he did not feel “the tone”. It has been years since then in which very little has been known about the singer, after publishing photographs on her social networks in which she looked very emaciated.
The joy was tremendous when I went up on that stage. I was elated and singing at the top of my lungs. Bernabéu with the Colombian singer. Our collaborator, Gonzalo Mirólived a passionate romance with Amaia, which lasted about a year. Today, on the set, he said that everyone was hoping to get back together the end on stage.
“If she didn’t want to face an audience like the one at the Bernabéu before, we’ll have to respect her timing”
She has had many opportunities to get on stage and she has done so when she has really felt ready. Gonzalo wanted to emphasize that “everything has its time.” It was a matter of time to get ahead, the collaborator confessed.
