For years, Jujutsu Kaisen has been gradually positioning itself as one of the most followed and talked about works of fiction in Japan, becoming considered an excellent exponent of the shonen genre and a manga that will probably not fall into oblivion as it continues to expand through other entertainment media after its publication ends.
The action manga that made Gege Akutami famous has memorable action scenes, many of them incredibly brought to digital format thanks to MAPPA, one of the most highly rated animation studios in the whole of Japan. In addition, Jujutsu Kaisen can boast of having characters who have managed to win the hearts and affection of its readers like few others, such as Nobara Kugisaki, who stars in the brilliant cosplay we share today.
A cosplay worthy of this charismatic sorceress
This time, Nobara Kugisaki has been brought into the real world thanks to the talent of kleinerpixel, a cosplayer who, from her official Instagram account, has already shared other excellent characterization works of characters such as Muichiro Tokito from Demon Slayer. Her tribute to Kugisaki was the following:
The live-action version proposed by the cosplayer is based on the Nobara who faced the Choso brothers in the story arc ‘The Origin of Obedience’, which was used to close the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen in style. In this arc, the sorceress’s uniform was damaged several times by Kechizu’s attacks, and soon after, Nobara would begin to suffer damage to her body from Eso’s Cursed Technique, causing the appearance of the rose-shaped marks that we see in the cosplay.
The defiant look that kleinerpixel has in her cosplay is accompanied by none other than the hammer and voodoo doll that Nobara uses to perform her Cursed Technique, which is capable of damaging enemies as powerful as Mahito, one of the most dangerous special grade curses in the entire work.
The bravery that Nobara showed in facing these powerful curses thrilled Jujutsu Kaisen fans, but this was not the only heroic act she performed, as she intervened in the Shibuya incident with the aim of helping the people who were falling victim to the curses that appeared in the popular Japanese neighborhood.
