Ardea, Guardia di Finanza investigation: the Administration clarifies – IlFaroOnline

Ardea, 20 July 2024 – The Municipality of Ardea has learned from the national and local press, in recent days, of the involvement of one of its employees in the Guardia di Finanza investigation of Pomezia which led to the reporting of 25 people, with five of them also being arrested (read here).

“This Administration – explains the Mayor of Ardea, Maurizio Cremonini – learned of the arrest of a municipal employee from press articles. I would like to point out that the employee is not an official, but belongs to the Expert Operators Area (ex cat. B). Moreover, the same it is no longer located in any of the Demographic Services, but has been in another sector of the Agency for a long time now. While trusting in the work of the investigators and the Judiciary to shed maximum light on the incident, I believe that no employee currently employed by the Demographic Services is involved in the investigation in question”.

The Councillor for Demographic Services also commented on the matter, Luana Ludovici: “The employees of the Registry Office, the Civil Status Office and the Electoral Office work every day with correctness and seriousness. I can assure you that, on the part of this Department, there is maximum attention to the work of the Offices, to whose staff I can only once again thank for the work they carry out every day”.
