West Ham are said to be interested in signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United. Wan-Bissaka has just one year left on his current contract and there is no prospect of an extension being agreed in the near future.
According to the Telegraph, Wan-Bissaka is not only interested in one club. The player is also being monitored by Galatasaray and Fenerbahce in Turkey. But at this time there is no clarity regarding his future, especially regarding whether he wants to leave or not.
Manchester United expect Wan-Bissaka to attract interest from several Premier League clubs. His contract runs out, leaving the club with only the transfer windows of mid-2024 and January 2025 to earn money from his sale.
So far, the Old Trafford-based club has only brought in Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. They also appear to be close to completing the transfer of Leny Yoro from Bologna. In addition to the two players, MU still has to get additional funds from player sales.
Wan-Bissaka is currently 26 years old, and seems to have the opportunity to return to London after playing for Crystal Palace from academy to senior level. However, the player has not yet made a decision about his future and will follow the pre-season series carried out by Erik ten Hag’s squad.
