Mayor Tidei: “Summer is the ideal time to nourish the mind and relax, listening to well-performed music and taking advantage of the meeting opportunities planned in the cultural calendar“
Santa Marinella, 18 July 2024 – The clarinets will be the protagonists of the concert that will be held on Thursday 18th at 9pm in the gardens of Green Park in via Giulio Cesare in Santa Marinella.
Giving voice to the instruments will be the masters of the KOSMOS Quintet, five high-level musicians, who will perform a repertoire that ranges from Bach to Strauss, from Mozart to Bizet, from Brahms to Gershwin, passing through Morricone and Castellanos.
Among them the master Lorenzo DiIonnaa native of Santa Marinella, who has distinguished himself in various national and international competitions, winning first prizes and first overall prizes.
As a winner of the 2022/2023 “Professione Orchestra” scholarship, he participated as an adjunct in various productions with the Rai National Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of famous conductors. He has performed several times as a soloist in the United Statesreceiving standing ovations from the audience at every concert. He is currently performing solo and chamber concerts in Italy and around the world.

The clarinet ensemble, in fact, will perform well-known pieces that are much appreciated by the public, such as those of Gershwinfor example, in which the most popular melodies of the jazz and blues tradition of American music will be easily recognizable.
