Manchester United have officially signed Leny Yoro from Lille. The youngster has agreed a five-year contract with an option for a further year and will join after completing a work permit process.
“Joining such a big club so early in my career is a great honour. From the very first talks, they gave me a clear plan for my development and an interesting project here, as well as showing their concern for me and my family.”
“I know the history of the young players here and feel that this club can be the perfect place for me to reach and fulfill my potential and ambitions as a player, together with my new teammates here,” said Leny Yoro in his first interview.
Manchester United reportedly spent 52 million Euros (918 billion Rupiah) on the transfer fee. The central defender was recruited as a long-term replacement for Raphael Varane and has high expectations in Europe as a whole due to his potential.
Leny Yoro is the second new player recruited by MU in the mid-2024 transfer market. Previously they brought in Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for a fee of 42.5 million Euros (746 billion Rupiah).
