Coach Manchester UnitedErik ten Hag, has given the green light to release Christian Eriksen this summer 2024.
In the 2023/24 season, Christian Eriksen slowly began to be sidelined from Manchester United’s regular squad. He lost out to other players such as Scott McTominay and Kobbie Mainoo to fill the midfield.
In the Premier League, Eriksen played a total of 22 matches and only 11 times as a starter. Seeing that he was rarely played from the start by Erik ten Hag, the Danish passport player was considered uncomfortable and began to think about leaving Old Trafford.
Eriksen has openly discussed his grievances with Ten Hag. According to a report by Goal, the club has said that they are willing to release the former Tottenham Hotspur player before the start of the 2024/25 season.
At the moment, there is no team that seems interested in signing him. However, when it was reported that he would cut his salary in half in order to move clubs, there were rumors that Ajax Amsterdam could show interest in Eriksen.
