Through account Twitter Personally, Ed Boon answered one of the questions from fans who asked duo which one deserves a Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks style spinoff game.
Ed Boon said that without a doubt if (and when) they do it, Scorpion and Sub-Zero will be the main characters in this adventure-style spinoff.
These 2 Ninjas do have a very interesting relationship and there are many things that can be developed from their relationship. Both of them are also very important characters in this series.
Ed Boon seems to understand the fans’ desire to see the fire and ice ninja duo adventure and fight in a co-op game. However, he still doesn’t know when he will develop this game with his team.
It Will Be The Biggest Hype If It Is Made
Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks game itself was released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox platforms. Unlike the main genre of the series which is a fighting game, this spin-off is a Beat ’em Up game with Protagonists Liu Kang and Kung Lao.
