Yes, but I didn’t have much fun because I was always alone in front. Races like that aren’t fun for anyone. Today I understood what Bautista felt when he dominated the races unchallenged and it’s not fun.
I focused on my race pace and overall I’m happy because I didn’t expect to win with such a big margin. I pushed hard at the beginning also because the sky was dark, and I thought it might rain. After a few laps when I saw that my gap was increasing I understood that I would win.
In the final the wind became strong and annoying. For tomorrow I hope to win again and that nothing unexpected happens that prevents me from doing good races. This is my favorite circuit, but there are also others that I like, such as Most where we will go next week”

Yes. They told me I was going too fast. I didn’t do any stoppie at the end of the race because in Misano they fined me 500 euros for doing so. Someone in my team asked me why I didn’t do a stoppie today and I told him that if they pay me the fine tomorrow I will.

Is BMW the best motorcycle now?
I think you all saw today which bike is the best. Ducati is always very performing, but BMW did an exceptional job, especially with regards to the engine brake and the electronics. If the electronics work well then it is just a matter of finding a good set up. The bike has also improved a lot in braking. It is not perfect yet, but it is constantly improving. We will see how things go on the other circuits, but for now I am not thinking about it. I am only thinking about winning tomorrow too and then I can rest.
